Hello Students and Parents! Welcome to Mrs. Taylor's Technology Lab! I hope you had the chance to explore my website. This section of my website is where I get to blog a little bit about me and a little bit about technology. Fourth grade students have had the chance to get to know this part of my website and even got to try some blog commenting. (Don't worry fifth and third graders you will be blogging soon!)
As you were exploring my site, you probably noticed the grade specific blog sections too. Students will be blogging and commenting on these blogs about a specific topic that we are learning or discussing in class. We haven't started using these blogs yet, but we will.
I really hope you are enjoying our open house tonight! I have so many fun and exciting things planned for technology this year. What are you hoping to do in technology? What do you like to use technology for?
I would love for you to leave me a comment tonight, but please be sure to check out the blogging rules first!
Hello Students! I just love time with my family! My weekends are jammed pack with fun times with my family. On Friday my family went for a visit to my Mom's house for dinner and family game night. We played outside for a while and then we had some pepperoni pizza for dinner. After dinner, my children went to bed and the adults played a card game called Joker Rummy. Joker Rummy is definately one of my favorite games. Although I did not win the game, I still had tons of fun.
On Saturday, I coached my son's soccer team. We played some really fun dribbling and running games. After practicing, our team played against another team for fun. I am really loving coaching my son's soccer team. Saturday night, my kids and I watched The Mouse and the Motorcycle on Netflix. We enjoyed snuggling together and watching a movie as a family.
On Sunday, we had a nice family lunch with my husband, kids, mom, sister, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. After lunch, we watched the Patriots win the football game. We spent some great family time chatting and catching up while watching the Patriots. I really had a wonderful family, fun filled weekend.
Hello students. I had a wonderful night tonight. I got to play outside with my kids on their new swing set. After playing outside, my children were very dirty and sweaty. I gave my children a nice warm bath. After getting all cleaned up my kids and I had a pretend tea party. We drank pretend tea and pretend cookies. We then had pretend hot chocolate with whipped cream and sprinkles. It was all very delicious. I love playing pretend with my children. Do you ever play pretend?
Last night I went out for dinner with my friends and family to a very yummy restaurant called Texas Roadhouse. I ate grilled barbeque chicken with french fries and apple sauce. It was absolutely delicious!
Last night was a typical Monday night for me. I picked up my daughter from daycare and met my husband and son at home. My kids went outside in the backyard to play on their new swing set. They played outside for over an hour! After some outside play time, we all came in to eat dinner, which was delicious! After dinner, the kids and I played Legos. Then it was time for baths and bed. Overall, it was a good night.
My weekend was packed with fun and excitement. On Saturday, I coached my son's soccer team and it was a blast. Saturday night we celebrated my mom's birthday. On Sunday, I was part of a parade. We walked with the Youth Soccer Teams for 3.1 miles. It was very hot and tiring. I just love weekends that are fun and exciting!
